Senior Sales Manager, North America Region

International manufacturer of personal care products is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for North America Region who will be responsible for the development and growth of customer sales in the North America (US and Canada), as well as the management and development of the sales team along with developing sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and growing customer base in United States and Canada
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company
  • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
  • Conducts market studies including competitive, SWOT, industry and trend analysis
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Supports professional development of sales team
  • Creates company strategies for mid to long term growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, engineering or business related field
  • 7+ years of sales and/or marketing management experience in the cosmetics industry preferred
  • Knowledge of cosmetics, pigments and/or inorganic chemistries required
  • Customer Service, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships
  • Can perform well in divesified environment
  • Open to business travel (both domestic and international)

Base salary up to 150K+Bonus
