Human Resources Manager

This position is responsible for assisting Head of HR by performing company’s daily HR functions such as Recruiting/Staffing, Onboarding/Termination, Performance Management, and Employee Relations in order to achieve Company objectives.

  • Performs Recruiting and Staffing Activities: communicating recruiting agencies by screening, recommending qualified candidates to hiring managers, and scheduling interview.
  • Performs Onboarding Process by fully understanding company’s HR policy, Employee Handbook and company benefit structure.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Maintain HR systems and processes
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies


  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. Degree in human resources, organizational development, business or related area.
  • 5+years in related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skill, a team player and a person who can perform in diversified environment.
  • Experience with the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Certifications at professional HR associates a plus
  • Be able to work in the office in San Jose, CA area
