An established Int’l Asset Management firm is seeking a Marketing and Client Service Associate with Japanese language skills.
1. Support promoting investment products
- Supporting promoting new mutual fund products/strategies as well as existing products by creating pitch books and presentation materials.
- Provide information on capital markets and individual securities.
2. Provide client services
- Responds to customer inquiries on portfolio/performance of the investment. Analyzes the customer’s needs and reports to the Manager in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with another department to provide customers with high-quality services. Develops an understanding of operational workflows to accomplish this.
3. Liaise between Head Office and US teams
- Assist with preparation for client meetings, reporting, and conference calls by gathering portfolio data and information, completing custom client reports, and by completing client questionnaires.
- Translate and update presentations and collateral marketing materials.
- Assist Head Office team with responding to ad-hoc questions and requests.
Requirements
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Japanese
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college
- 2-3+yrs related experience. Experience at asset management firms and securities firms is a plus. Back office/middle office experience in asset managers and trust banks is considered.
- Analytical capabilities to review portfolio performance data, financial markets, individual stocks, and an ability to tailor messages to the clients.
- Proficient in MS Office and Bloomberg
- Knowledge of market products such as equity and fixed income preferred.
