International Bank is seeking a Corporate Finance Officer with Japanese language skills;
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare credit applications and conduct credit reviews of customers on a regular basis:
- Correspond with Head Office for credit approval
- Conduct legal risk analysis with the aid of internal/external attorneys when necessary
- Interact with the Borrowers and with Agent Banks
- Present prospective transactions to senior management in collaboration with the CF staffs
- Comply with the Branch’s Policy & Procedures manual
- Monitor the existing portfolio of corporate loans accounts in order to maintain them as performing assets
- Evaluate and prepare credit proposals and present to the relevant committees for approval
- Prepare amendment applications when applicable
- Analyze the impact of the amendment
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and potential customers
- Manage relationships with customers to generate loan assets and fee income
- Manage existing relationship with the corporate by providing continuous support on the existing portfolio
- Strengthen existing relationships with the corporate clients by providing new product propositions
- Interact/Cooperate with the Operation Group in order to resolve administrative issues
- Conduct trouble shooting if necessary
Position Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency (Japanese/English) in writing and speaking
- Minimum 5 years related experiences in Financial Services Industry. Experience in bank is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree. (Degree in Finance is preferred)
- Completion of a formal bank credit training program recommended
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of corporate finance and banking products
- Ability to use M365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point)
