Established International Technology Firm is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with Japanese language skills;

Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget, and timeline
Coordinate with internal technical teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Oversee implementation of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions including network systems, server environments, cloud migration (AWS, Azure), and data center operations.
Manage and support projects involving hybrid IT environments, on-premise infrastructure modernization, office relocation setups, and enterprise communication system upgrades (VoIP, VPN, firewall, etc.).
Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, providing bilingual communication and cultural coordination between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, engineers, and third-party providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation.
Conduct regular status meetings, risk assessments, and progress reporting to ensure project transparency and alignment.

Required:

Native (and professional) level command of the Japanese language
Minimum of +3 years of professional work experience
Business level command of the English language
Strategic thinker (problem solver)
Excellent communicator (oral, writing)
Excel in working in a group (team) environment and get along with people from all walks of life (i.e. race, religion, culture, language, gender, etc.,)
Based in the Tri-state area and can commute to Manhattan
Able to go on business trips (mostly domestic travel. Typical trips are for 2-3 days. )

Preferred (negotiable)

Experience working in IT infrastructure (in any capacity but PM or engineer/technician strongly preferred)
Experience in enterprise level project management role (doesn’t have to be in IT)
Poses strong leadership skills
Education in computer science, business, mathematics, and/or macroeconomics.
