Established International Technology Firm is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with Japanese language skills;
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget, and timeline
- Coordinate with internal technical teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

Oversee implementation of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions including network systems, server environments, cloud migration (AWS, Azure), and data center operations.

Manage and support projects involving hybrid IT environments, on-premise infrastructure modernization, office relocation setups, and enterprise communication system upgrades (VoIP, VPN, firewall, etc.).

Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, providing bilingual communication and cultural coordination between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, engineers, and third-party providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation.

Conduct regular status meetings, risk assessments, and progress reporting to ensure project transparency and alignment.
Required:
- Native (and professional) level command of the Japanese language
- Minimum of +3 years of professional work experience
- Business level command of the English language
- Strategic thinker (problem solver)
- Excellent communicator (oral, writing)
- Excel in working in a group (team) environment and get along with people from all walks of life (i.e. race, religion, culture, language, gender, etc.,)
- Based in the Tri-state area and can commute to Manhattan
- Able to go on business trips (mostly domestic travel. Typical trips are for 2-3 days. )
Preferred (negotiable)
- Experience working in IT infrastructure (in any capacity but PM or engineer/technician strongly preferred)
- Experience in enterprise level project management role (doesn’t have to be in IT)
- Poses strong leadership skills
- Education in computer science, business, mathematics, and/or macroeconomics.
