Position Overview
This role supports private equity fund and fund-of-funds investments, covering fund sourcing, due diligence, investment committee processes, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. The position provides broad exposure to institutional private equity investing within a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Sourcing & Market Coverage
- Identify and evaluate private equity fund managers and investment opportunities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective funds and manager relationships
- Engage with general partners, placement agents, and advisors through meetings and updates
Due Diligence & Investment Execution
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on private equity funds
- Analyze fund strategies, track records, structures, and economic terms
- Coordinate with external advisors, including legal and consulting partners
- Prepare investment memoranda and support subscription and closing processes
Investment Committee Support
- Prepare investment committee materials and present opportunities
- Respond to committee questions with clear analysis and documentation
- Track feedback and follow up on action items
Portfolio Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor capital calls, distributions, NAVs, and quarterly reports
- Maintain portfolio databases and performance reporting
- Support fund operations, reconciliations, audits, and tax filings
- Participate in advisory committee meetings as needed
Investor Reporting & Strategy
- Support investor presentations and portfolio updates
- Assist with strategic research and portfolio planning
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on investment strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred)
- 1–5 years of experience in private equity, fund investments, or related roles
- Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- CFA, CAIA, or similar credentials are a plus
