A growing finance company in the construction equipment industry is expanding its insurance business and is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support the development of its commercial insurance operations.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing insurance team within an established organization. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Documentation, and Corporate Planning while supporting insurance operations for commercial customers and equipment financing activities.
Responsibilities
- Support commercial insurance quoting, policy administration, and account servicing
- Respond to customer and dealer inquiries regarding commercial insurance products and coverage
- Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and related policy changes
- Assist with multi-state insurance licensing and regulatory compliance activities
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and state insurance regulators as needed
- Participate in license renewals and continuing education requirements
- Assist in developing operational procedures and workflows for the growing insurance business
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of confidential information
- Support various insurance and operational projects
Qualifications
Required
- Active Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License (Life & Health is a plus)
- 3+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Experience with commercial insurance account management, policy administration, renewals, endorsements, or quoting
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred
- Experience with construction, contractor, transportation, fleet, equipment, inland marine, or related commercial insurance
- Experience with commercial brokerage or commercial account management
- Knowledge of multi-state licensing procedures and NIPR
- Experience working with commercial insurance carriers and underwriters
- Familiarity with equipment finance, leasing, or dealer-related insurance programs
- Experience supporting a growing business or startup environment
