As part of its New Business Incubation Center, the organization is investing in next-generation drug discovery and in-vitro toxicology platforms, partnering with pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic institutions.
This role sits at the intersection of scientific execution, application development, and customer technical engagement, supporting cutting-edge 3D cell culture and in-vitro systems.
Key Responsibilities:
In-Vitro & 3D Cell Culture Research
- Design and execute in-vitro drug discovery and toxicology assays
- Conduct spheroid and organoid research using advanced 3D culture platforms
- Culture and maintain primary cells, iPSC-derived cells, and established cell lines in both 2D and 3D formats
- Analyze experimental data and deliver clear scientific interpretation and reports
Technical Support & Customer Engagement
- Provide hands-on technical support to customers using in-vitro platforms
- Troubleshoot assay performance, imaging, and culture challenges
- Deliver product training, demonstrations, and protocol optimization
- Serve as a scientific advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, and research partners
Application Development & Collaboration
- Partner with internal R&D, product development, and commercial teams
- Develop application notes, protocols, and technical documentation
- Support beta testing and early-stage product evaluations
- Collaborate with academic laboratories, CROs, and industry partners

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related life-science field
- 5–7+ years of experience in in-vitro drug discovery, toxicology, or translational research
- Strong expertise in 3D cell culture systems (spheroids and/or organoids)
- Hands-on experience with cell-based assays, drug screening, and data analysis
Technical Skills
- Experimental troubleshooting and assay optimization
- Scientific data interpretation and reporting
- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with iPSC-derived models or primary human cells
- Familiarity with high-content imaging or fluorescence microscopy
- Background in toxicology, ADME, or safety pharmacology
- Experience in applications scientist or field scientist roles
- Knowledge of organ-on-chip or microphysiological systems (MPS)
