Senior Human Resources Generalist

International Energy company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with following responsibilities

  • Develop, interpret, standardize, and advise on HR policy
  • Monitors HR best practices and recommend appropriate internal adjustments
  • Conduct talent acquisition and manage recruitment processes which includes developing job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews and conducting background check/reference check. Conducts all new-hire orientations.
  • Manages benefits program and vendor relationships. Assists employees with questions, issues and enrollment. Assist payroll process
  • Perform Human Resource services including: performance and merit planning processes, benefits, terminations, work arrangements, leaves of absence, company wage and salary structure including bonuses and raises
  • Manage employee relations and bridge between management and employees.
  • Work with the legal department as needed/required to Interpret and ensure compliance and administration of employment laws and policies such as FLSA, FLMA, EEO, Workers Compensation etc.
  • Assist to carry out company-wide process of organization development
  • Assist introducing HRIS System and collect/analyze data with useful HR metrics

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, human resources, organizational leadership or related field is required
  • HR related certificate preferred
  • 10 years’ experience in corporate HR
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws, EEO
  • Strong and practical knowledge on benefits
  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge on HRIS systems a big plus
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience or familiarity with working with international company operations and management
