Securities Lending Associate

An international financial firm is seeking an Associate for their Securities Lending Group. This position is responsible for initiating and responding to the Repo Trading desk margin call activity.

Responsibility

  • Calculate collateral amounts to ensure they meet the client’s thresholds
  • Investigate and resolve margin call disputes
  • Assist the Securities Lending desk in mark to market processing
  • Monitor and maintain approved client margin collateral securities
  • Input collateral trade information into the lending system
  • Update rates on securities out on loans
  • Create and monitor daily trade logs and related reports
  • Perform other duties as deemed required by the manager

 

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
  • Knowledge of financial markets & accounting
  • Experience in US Treasury and/or Equity markets a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Multi tasking and detailed oriented
  • Strong communications skill
