Sales Representative – Nutritional chemicals

An international nutritional chemical supplier is seeking highly motivated and diligent individuals who are quick learners and can multi-task for our domestic and/or international sales teams.
We are interested in speaking to individuals with an interest in the fields of nutrition, health & wellness, sports physiology, sales & marketing, business, and/or international business to be part of the Nutrition Team.

Responsibilities

  • Network with Customers, Vendors, etc to develop business.
  • Conduct market and science research to analyze customers’ needs and interests.
  • Prepare proactive sales strategies to implement with teammates.
  • Business development for the nutritional supplement category.
  • Follow up with customer inquiries, vendor inquiries, and internal staff to push sales initiative.
  • Learn products for presenting to clientele.
  • Learn compliance and documentation.
  • Learn about Sample/Order processing and logistics.
  • Prepare for and attend industry trade shows.
  • Prepare itineraries for customer and supplier visits.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Special projects on request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA in Business Management or International Business is not a requirement but a plus)
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Extremely Detail Oriented.
  • Superior Time Management Skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office and Internet Applications.
  • Self-Motivated and capable of working independently.
  • General interest and knowledge in nutrition and supplementation is required.
  • Skills and Experience in Nutritional Supplements, Sports Nutrition, or Health & Wellness are not required but a plus.
  • Experience in retail health food store is not a requirement but a plus.
  • Team Sport Athlete is not a requirement but a plus.
  • Multi-lingual and multi-cultural is not a requirement but a plus.
