Sales Representative – Nutritional chemicals
An international nutritional chemical supplier is seeking highly motivated and diligent individuals who are quick learners and can multi-task for our domestic and/or international sales teams.
We are interested in speaking to individuals with an interest in the fields of nutrition, health & wellness, sports physiology, sales & marketing, business, and/or international business to be part of the Nutrition Team.
Responsibilities
- Network with Customers, Vendors, etc to develop business.
- Conduct market and science research to analyze customers’ needs and interests.
- Prepare proactive sales strategies to implement with teammates.
- Business development for the nutritional supplement category.
- Follow up with customer inquiries, vendor inquiries, and internal staff to push sales initiative.
- Learn products for presenting to clientele.
- Learn compliance and documentation.
- Learn about Sample/Order processing and logistics.
- Prepare for and attend industry trade shows.
- Prepare itineraries for customer and supplier visits.
- Willingness to travel.
- Special projects on request.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BBA in Business Management or International Business is not a requirement but a plus)
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Extremely Detail Oriented.
- Superior Time Management Skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office and Internet Applications.
- Self-Motivated and capable of working independently.
- General interest and knowledge in nutrition and supplementation is required.
- Skills and Experience in Nutritional Supplements, Sports Nutrition, or Health & Wellness are not required but a plus.
- Experience in retail health food store is not a requirement but a plus.
- Team Sport Athlete is not a requirement but a plus.
- Multi-lingual and multi-cultural is not a requirement but a plus.
