Field Project Coordinator

Summary:

The role of the Field Project Coordinator is to support and report to Head of Engineering and Construction onsite by ensuring the construction of the utility-scale renewable energy generation projects is completed with the fulfillment of project requirements in terms of schedule, cost, and quality as well as tracking and communicating key project risks to stakeholders. The Field Project Coordinator will work onsite report to Head of Engineering and Construction. Specifically, the Field Project Coordinator will be expected to, respond to Change Order’s from EPC contractors via TGAM management, prepare/attend/take minutes of progress meetings, maintain the IT environment, and perform any other duties necessary to ensure the smooth progress of site work.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administrate construction site office as well as in the Field
  • Support site management in office and field environments
  • Attend weekly/monthly EPC progress meetings and take meeting minutes
  • Monitor H&S compliance while on site (COVID-19 included)
  • Monitor environmental compliance
  • Cross reference all changes orders and invoices for all contractors/subs
  • Support EPC Vice President regarding EPC quality testing and inspection
  • Manage paperwork, filling, and onsite office space
  • Monitor module delivery schedule compliance and review of CEA reports
  • Attend biweekly interconnection related meetings and take meeting minutes
  • Communicate with third parties
  • Additional duties as required

Requirements:

  • 2 + years’ experience in the renewable energy industry (plus)
  • Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, outlook) skill set
  • IT peripheral hardware knowledge
  • OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
  • Problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator to include recording and distribution of meeting minutes
  • Ability to read mechanical construction drawings
  • Self-motivated and independent worker
  • Ability to ensure timely collection of documentation and ensure complete for submittal
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation
  • Quality Assurance experience is a real plus
