Customer Service Representative

An international chemical company is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for sales operations, logistics, and inventory management.

Responsibility

  • Process customer orders (Receive and enter into system)
  • Place purchase orders to vendors
  • Handle import transactions (instructions to broker/ freight forwarder, customs clearance, carrier tracking)
  • Communication with customers/logistics companies so all parties have up to date status
  • Update inventory charts
  • Process expense invoices related to shipments
  • Maintain sales records (electronically on server)
  • Join weekly division meetings

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree
  • 2 years’ working experience as a customer service
  • 2 years’ Import/Export logistics knowledge or experience
  • Experience with ERP system a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel/word/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Strong communication skill
