Customer Service Representative
International manufacturing company is seeking a customer service Representative (CRS) who will act as a liaison between sales staff and customers.
- Process, release and review all orders on daily basis. Confirm all PO’s back to customers, noting ship point, ship date and any backorders.
- Follow up with warehouses, and trucking companies on all orders and communicate necessary information to customer and/or Sales Staff.
- Maintain daily communications with external customers to ensure prompt response to inquiries or quick resolution to any issues
- Request freight quotes for truckload and volume shipment
- Utilize order management screen for all invoicing.
- Save all customer PO’s and bill of ladings on Sharepoint
- Communicate with Assistant Manager, Credit and/or Finance Department concerning credit status of customer’s orders
- Timely postings of all customer’s purchase orders and returns for month end closing. (Second business day of the following month)
- Communicate with Senior Director of Procurement, Inventory and Sale Staff regarding customer usages, new usages or lost business
- Create and review backorder reports on weekly basis
- Create and manage monthly reports including creating pivot tables based on customer sales and open orders
- Cross train other Customer Service Reps on all accounts to ensure seamless flow of operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2yrs of customer service experience
- Proficient in MS office. Ability to quickly learn new systems
- Strong communications/interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, perform well with minimum supervision
