Trade Settlements Manager

International Bank is seeking a Trade Settlements Manager for Custody team.

  • Checking and approving client trades in the trust accounting system
  • Monitoring and arranging settlement of trades at DTCC, Fed, Euroclear, RBC and Syndicate Loans
  • Conducting a daily reconciliation of positions and SWIFT messages and investigating discrepancies
  • Investigating trades with brokers and reporting on trade fails to clients
  • Reporting, tracking and testing of trust accounting system defects (heavy communication with system vendor)
  • Supervising Administrator Level Staff
  • Testing User Acceptance of trust accounting system
  • Responding to client inquiries
  • Backing up other Custody Department Managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree and minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
  • trade settlements experience (DTCC and Fed trade settlements experience a must).
  • management or supervisory experience.
  • detail oriented, organized and a fast learner
  • a team player and must be able to follow direction
  • multi-task (handling regular duties while working on projects)
