Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivables

An international beverage company is seeking an Accounts Receivables Assistant Manager.
This position is responsible for managing many aspects of accounting-related duties for the Company and for making recommendations to Senior management.

Responsibility

Handles Accounts Receivable Functions

  • assisting the Accounting Senior Manager in the closing
  • reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • preparing aging reports and making accruals
  • preparing daily deposits and reviewing bank statements
  • releasing invoices, recording payments and deductions
  • maintaining customer accounts
  • Verifying validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
  • resolving valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
  • resolving invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
  • resolving collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line
  • facilitating payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • preparing closing and accruals for this Discounts and Promotions

Reduce Aged AR and Prepare Meeting report

  • monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • preparing report for GSMP meeting

Maintain Customer Accounts, Company and trade Contracts and handle Inquires from Customer and Sale Team

  • answering inquires form customers and employees
  • conducting credit checks on all customers, establish and manage credit limit and terms
  • communicating with customers about billing discrepancies and questions
  • maintaining customer information
  • reviewing pended claims in Blacksmith
  • creating logs for issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years’ working experience in Accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office. Experience with ERP a plus
  • Good business math, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational ability
  • Strong communication skill
  • Open to working for diversified environment
