Account Manager – International chemical company

An international chemical manufacturing company in NYC is seeking Account Manager who will be responsible for maintaining clients’ relationship and developing/implementing marketing & sales plans.

Responsibility

  • Manage and expand customer accounts (quotation/negotiation/contract closing, sales forecasting, problem shooting, calls/presentation, credit management)
  • Develop and implement marketing & sales plan for account-in-charge
  • Manage marketing functions, such as market analysis, marketing strategies (pricing/promotion/channel), and following-up sales leads/inquiries
  • Make close and proper communication within team and with customers and vendors to fulfill duties
  • Require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis
  • Join weekly meeting / make regular report to Supervisor

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (chemistry or marketing preferred)
  • Min 2 years’ working experience as a sales/marketing for B to B products
  • Trade business (import/export) knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Open to business trips (a few times/year in the US)
