A leading global investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income is seeking a Senior Associate who supports existing and future retail sub advisory relationships of the firm. The individual will also support the New York-based Relationship Management department and other members of firm’s Relationship Management and Marketing teams.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Function as a focal point within the local relationship management team with primary focus on creating local contents in order to retain and grow the firm’s retail sub advisory book of business.
- Generate ideas for contents (materials, databases) for fund sponsors and distributors.
- Gather market/portfolio data and relevant information.
- Conduct research on peer managers and its products.
- Assist team in completing client reporting/questionnaires and RFPs/RFIs.
- Develop and update presentation materials, update relevant databases, support ad-hoc client requests/inquiries, and visit clients together with other members as required.
- Translate and update presentations and collateral marketing materials, including digital contents.
- Liaise with other local members, teams in New York and other global offices in efforts to respond to clients’ needs/inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English and Japanese with fluency.
- Skilled use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Japanese.
- Must be able and willing to work in a team-oriented environment from a satellite location.
- Knowledge of real estate and REITs, broad market equities, listed infrastructure, preferred stocks, a plus.
- Hours typically 9am to 5:30pm; must be able to participate on conference calls during non-business hours.
