International Chemical Firm is seeking a Logistics Manager responsible for overseeing the Logistics Department, managing both import and export shipments, domestic transportation, inventory, warehouse management, and production planning for subsidiary affiliate managed products. This role involves strategizing according to the Company’s policies and supervising staff to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Mid-Term Plan and Budget in alignment with Company’s strategic goals.
- Manage logistics operations, including contract negotiations, vendor relations, and compliance with laws.
- Oversee production planning and inventory control for subsidiary affiliate managed product lines, including vendor-managed inventories.
- Supervise and develop staff, ensuring effective communication and compliance with company policies.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and execute logistics and budgetary strategies.
- Manage daily logistics operations and optimize logistics processes.
- Oversee inventory and production planning for specific product lines.
- Supervise and train logistics staff, and perform regular performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with management and business directors to support business and customer acquisition.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in logistics or a related area.
- 3PL warehouse contract negotiation experience and have thorough understanding of warehousing rate structure.
- Export supervising and contract negotiation experience.
- Domestic transportation managing and contract negotiation exp.
- Strong command of English with the ability to produce reports and present information effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
