A global leader in advanced materials is seeking a bilingual Japanese Technical Account Manager to oversee key relationships in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This role involves managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering customized solutions using high-performance engineering plastics. The ideal candidate is client-focused, culturally fluent, and able to work cross-functionally with internal and global teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow existing business with Japanese-based clients and their suppliers

Build deep relationships through proactive communication and solution-based selling

Lead pricing negotiations in alignment with global strategy and market conditions

Ensure stable product delivery in coordination with supply chain and distributors

Track sales performance and maintain detailed activity records in Salesforce

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and industry events

Collaborate with global key account teams in Japan; participate in regular web conferences and reporting
Qualifications:

Bilingual fluency: Native-level Japanese and business-level English
