1.Daily Management of Systems and Infrastructure

Manage outsourced IT services to ensure the installation and configuration of, and maintain company’s network environment including internet connection and email systems by;

  • establishing technical priorities, standards, and procedures
  • ensuring sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs
  • controlling, monitoring and analyzing network, Inernet and email usage
  • studying and proposing new information systems infrastructure
  • troubleshooting
  • backing-up and saving information systems data, and storing in da secure environment
  • maintaining and updating/upgrading computers and peripherals
  • controlling and managing departmental software licenses
  • studying ad proposing new software
  • controlling user access and permission, and system setting to the network, internet, email, and in compliance with applications
  • communicating regularly with vendors in person, or by phone, or email
  • updating programs in compliance with vendors
  • acting as the intermediary between vendors and users by handling user requirements and systems bugs
  • creating and/or modifying system reports, by maintaining, monitoring and analyzing, and updating network security systems including firewall and anti-virus protections
  • studying and proposing new security systems

2.Provide User Support by;

  • supervising and monitoring 3rd party, if applicable
  • communicating regularly with users regarding systems usage and needs
  • responding to users’ questions and resolving problems or issues in a timely manner
  • assisting with data processing and downloads as necessary

3.Prepare IT plan and budget by;

  • planning and implementing IT plan and budget based on company’s strategy and policies
  • gathering information, and analyzing the internal and external business environments, including markets and customers
  • reviewing performance and achievements of previous terms
  • identifying issues and assigning tasks

 

Qualifications

  • BS degree
  • 4+yrs experience in network administration
  • MS 365 environment and knowledge of SAP highly desirable
  • Expected to work in the office in White Plains area 1-2 times a week

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitates and manages the development, modification, and operation of security protocols including intrusion detection and prevention systems to protect the organizations information from breach or loss.
  • Performs risk assessments, audits, and tests to identify technical weaknesses and provides recommended solutions to remediate any weaknesses.
  • Stays abreast of security best practices, threats, and technologies, tools and techniques, and fosters group collaboration with team members by providing technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support.

Responsibilities

As a member of the BRC/DLP team a key focus for the individual will be monitoring external electronic communication across the organization, provide consolidated DLP Event Reporting, Incident management – identification, review, escalation and resolution of DLP events, update/revise classification and DLP rules/policies working with the Business/Control Teams. Focused on Data Protection which includes awareness/training, data classification, secure email, and scanning to identify information security gaps in unstructured data.

  • Day to day triage of Data Protection solution generated reporting and/or centralized incident logs
