Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent concentration; Master’s Degree and/or Ph.D. in Economics preferred.
  • MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
  • At least 5-10 years in macroeconomics and/or financial markets related experience such as economist, strategist, or related position with an understanding of macro-financial environment; multi-national corporation experience preferred.
  • Strong command of MS Office software and advanced Excel; proficiency with Bloomberg and related automated research tools.

Bilingual Japanese Risk Management/Regulatory Analyst – Global Markets

Internatinal Bank is seeking a Risk Management/Regulatory Analyst with Japanese language skill in their Global Marekts team who will perform tasks concerning credit line management, BSA/AML, corporate and FATCA compliance matters, and regulatory matters, prepares Customer / Account Profiles (existing and new accounts), perform account maintenance and assists trader with necessary risk management and infrastructure management.  Liaison with Head Office.  Also, the individual will help to ensure compliance with Volcker Rule Requirements.

 

FORMAT Analyst

  1. Primarily responsible for preparing Customer / Account Profile for all Global Markets Unit’s existing Customers and uploads on Surety system
  2. Primarily responsible for on-boarding account opening process for adding proposed unit’s Customers
  3. Performs transactions / counterparties review and prepares monthly reports

Volcker Rule Responsible Officer (Secondary)

  1. Act as the secondary Volcker Rule Responsible Officer for Global Markets Unit.

Responsible for (i) ensuring that all trading desks’ activities are in compliance with the Volcker Rule; (ii) keeping up with any changes and new developments related to Volcker Rule provisions affecting the activities of the unit, and (iii) ensuring that the Market Making Desk, ALM Desk and Investment Desk Policies and Procedures remain in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Volcker Rule.

Syndication Loan Operation (Consulting)

  • Manage loan transactions by communicating with agents of the syndicated deals and Operations/Treasury Group.
  • Execute loans by processing and verifying instructions related loan transactions against: Approved Credit Application, loan agreements, loan and time deposit applications/confirmations and/or other third party instructions/Notices.
  • Close and maintain syndicated loan facilities by reviewing loan agreements and other related requisite loan documentations. Deliver such documents to Operations Group with instructions, and conduct required checks/registrations in the systems.

  • Act as principal point of contact, liaise and coordinate communications, reporting & other deliverables with various divisions within the company and its head office.
