International Bank is seeking an Operational Risk Associate who will be executing all aspects of operational risk management framework through oversight activities;

  1. Assists in various Operational Risk related projects and initiatives, including the AD-wide Risk Culture Project.
  2. Assists in the Vendor Risk Management activities.
  3. Assists with review and re-design of the Event Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”).
  4. Prepares operational risk reports, schedules meetings, takes notes, prepares minutes, and maintains files for ORM department.
  5. Provides analysis and coordination support for the ORM department.
  6. Coordinates the Corrective Action Plan process.
  7. Coordinates the Policy and Procedures tracking process.
  8. Coordinates the New Product Approval process.
  9. Coordinates and supports in conducting Operational Risk Assessment, Vendor Risk Assessment & Vendor Performance Review, Model Risk Assessment, and Event Risk and Control Self-Assessment.
  10.  Researches any regulatory changes or/and risk trends applicable to area(s) of coverage and creates Operational Risk Newsletter.
  11. Creates presentations of key risk indicators to senior management.
  12. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  2. 1-3 years of related experience, in operational risk management, vendor risk management, model risk management, or Risk Analysis.

Associate, Money Market and Treasury Investment

International Bank is seeking an Associate in Money Market and Treasury Investment Team.

  • Maintain money market desk position and the foreign currency account balances to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Prepare trade tickets, tax hedge paperwork and input trades into the system for money market transactions such as deposit, margin call, CD, commercial paper, repurchase agreements, asset and liability swaps, depo swaps, currency swaps, and internal loans and deposits.
  • Conduct KYCs for market transactions.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Update, output, email and upload various reports for money market activities.

Bilingual Japanese Trading Assistant

International Bank is seeking a Trading Assistant with Japanese language skills who provides support to traders by processing trades, maintaining position records, and preparing trading-related reports. Responsible for trade captures, trading activity reports, and risk calculations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze MBS/US Treasury and FX markets to support making an investment decision.
  2. Assist investment activities of Treasury Team such as execute trades, prepare trade tickets and input in the system.
  3. Conducts the Investment/ALM desk operations and addresses/troubleshoots irregularities with a senior trading assistant.
  4. Develops and enhances the desk/procedure manual in the Investment/ ALM desk and trains other new persons to standardize the operational quality.

  1. Develops and maintains business relationships with customers and identify business opportunities. Pursues and generates new customers and new transactions from current customers.
  2. Reviews potential assets in assigned industries and prepares credit applications and makes investment recommendations. Prepares all applications and reports and makes recommendations on all amendments, refinancings and other ongoing activities.
  3. Monitors assigned assets and industries to maintain credit quality through asset/industry appropriate measures, i.e., financial analysis and trends, cross-sectional analysis and market value/liquidity.
  4. Ensures compliance with applicable investment guidelines and directives from Head Office and Branch Management.
  5.
