Marketing Coordinator

An international electronics company in Long Island, NY is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.

Responsibility

  • Conceptualize, design and produce branded marketing collateral
  • Maintain corporate website
  • Maintain corporate social media presence
  • Manage PPC advertising campaigns
  • Process analytics to maximize ROI
  • Author and distribute corporate press releases
  • Maintenance of internal contact database
  • Assist in all aspects of local and national trade show planning and execution (Overnight travel required: 10%)
  • Maintain Co-op advertising program funding and process claims
  • Conduct product training by phone, video conference or in person
  • Research, analyze and report market trends, competition, and new product ideas
  • Maintain product comparison data for competitive products
  • Maintain positive working relationship with all vendors and customers
  • Weekly and monthly activity reporting
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Proficiency Preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualification

  • Knowledge of WordPress CMS
  • Knowledge of HTML and e-mail authoring software
  • SEO/SEM experience
