Bilingual Japanese Assistant

An international manufacturing company is seeking an assistant with Japanese language skill;

  • Coordinate Board of Directors meetings- book room/location, prepare presentations.
  • Manage Executive Management calendars and travel arrangements.
  • Accurately capture meeting minutes recording approvals and outcomes. Distribute documentation as needed.
  • Support senior management for developing/improving company process
  • Document, distribute and set up training requirements as needed.
  • Assist with project assignments to improve business functions and profitability.
  • Respond to inquiries from Head office regarding financial statements and reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects/assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese are required
  • Knowledge of full cycle accounting, financial and profit & loss statement desired a plus
  • Strong PC skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
